Hanafy (B. 1960)
Born in Purworejo and studied at The Indonesian Fine Art School (SSRI) in Yogyakarta. He held is first solo exhibition in Jakarta 1996.

Hara, Eddie (B. 1957)
He first studied painting at
ISI / Indonesian Art Institute, Yogyakarta, and then continued his education at the Academie voor Beeldende Kunst Enschede, the Netherlands. He has had solo and group exhibitions in Indonesia and several countries abroad.

Hayatuddin(B. 1972)
He was one of the Big Five finalist from the Philip Morris Art Awards in 2000 and so many joint and single exhibition in Indonesia. He won the best sketch Academy Art ISI Yogyakarta Awards.

Hidayat (B. 1969)
He graduated from ISI / Indonesian Art Institute, Yogyakarta in 1996. Since very young, Hidayat had been active in participating in many painting competitions and had won numerous awards for himself. In 1986, he won the best sketch and watercolor from the FSRD ISI Competition (Jurusan Seni Murni). He also achieved the best painting award during the exhibition of Islami in Ajiyasa Building. He is one of the Philip Morris Art Awards finalist.

Ho, Huu Thu(B. 1940)
A graduate of the national fine arts college of Saigon (class of 1965), he later taught there. Among his many awards are the 1959 ESSO silver medal and the second prize at the national fine arts competition in 1990.

Hofker, Willem Gerard (1902-1981)
He was a student of the Rijksacademie in Amsterdam. He came to Indonesia in 1938 and visited Batavia, Bandung, Bogor and Bali. Finally, he settled in Bali at the village near Denpasar, then to Ubud. In Ubud he became acquainted with Rudolf Bonnet, a Dutch painter, and became his good company. During the Japanese occupation, Hofker and Bonnet were interned in Denpasar, then to Sulawesi (1943). Hofker went back to his homeland, Netherlands, in 1946 after being rejected from returning to Bali during the physical revolution.

Huang, Anton (1935-1985)
He began learning to paint at the age of twenty one under the guidance of Kartono Yudhokusumo at Sanggar Seniman (Artist’s Society) and then with Barli. He took part in group exhibitions in Jakarta, Bandung and Surabaya in 1959. Exhibitions of his works were held in Indonesia, Denmark, Stuttgart, and Netherlands. His first solo exhibition was held in Jakarta in 1973.

Husner, Paul (B. 1942)
He studied graphic art and painting in Amsterdam in 1965 - 1967. He has received Dutch awards such as the Urio Prijs in 1969; Wilink van Collen Prijs in 1971; the Jeanne Bieruma Oosting Prijs in 1974; and the Art Medaille in 1987. From 1980 - 1988 he was Professor at the National Academy of Arts in Amsterdam where he taught drawing and painting. He has had solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in the Netherlands, Switzerland, USA, Singapore and Indonesia.
