Laksono, Win Dwi (B. 1957)
Graduated from ISI / Indonesian Art Institute, Yogyakarta. His creations have a tendency in deformation, and more emphasizing in gesture. Some of his public creation is sculpture in Museum Keprajuritan TMII (1986) and Tugu Pahlawan in Surabaya (1998).

Le Mayeur De Merpres, Adrien-Jean (1880-1958)
Le Mayeur studied painting from his father and was also a pupil of Blanc – Garin in Brussels, Belgium. He settled in Bali in 1932 and three years later he married Ni Pollok, a Balinese dancer who was the model for many his paintings. In 1958 when he became seriously ill, he returned to Brussels and died there.

Le, Pho (1907 – 2001)
He first studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts de l’Indochine founded by Victor Tardieu. Then he continued his study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Paris in 1931. He returned to Vietnam from 1932 to 1937, but after that he chose to settle down in France. He painted flowers and portraits of women and children. He had held many exhibitions in Paris, throughout France, New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Buenos Aires.

Le, Tanh Son(B. 1962)
Le Thanh Son was born in Hanoi in 1962 and graduated from the Hanoi College of Drama and Cinematography in 1986. He prefers to fill the canvases with clear, bright colours in an impressionistic style and an intimate atmosphere that can be found in villages around Hanoi. Thanh Son has participated in several shows in Vietnam and also in Singapore (1995), Hong Kong (1996, 1997), and Great Britain (2001).

Lee, Man Fong(1913 – 1988)
In 1916, his family moved from Canton to Singapore. He began his studies of painting in Singapore, and in 1932 he moved to Jakarta where he started an advertising agency and worked as a commercial artist. In 1941 he visited Bali and painted there for a brief period; in the same year he had a solo exhibition in Jakarta. In 1947 he was awarded the Malino grant by the Dutch Governor-General to study painting in Netherlands and he stayed there until 1952. He traveled widely during those years and held several solo exhibitions. In 1955 he founded the Yin Hua artist’s association, and served as chairman. He became a Presidential Palace painter for the former Indonesian President Soekarno in 1961. In 1964, together with Lim Wasim he compiled a 5-volume edition of the Soekarno Collection in which many of his own works are featured.

Li, Fu Yuan (B. 1942)
He graduated from the Fine Art Faculty of Beijing Art academy in 1963 and in 1963 – 1992 he was appointed lecturer at Beijing Art Professional Training College.

Linggar, Josephine (B. 1943)
Born in Jember, East Java, in 1943. She’s known as a fashion designer, and an owner of a garment business and cafĂ©-gallery. She often takes part in group exhibitions in Jakarta and Singapore among other cities. Once she ran her solo exhibition in Switzerland. Her book on art is Primadonna. A finalist of Indofood Art Awards 2002.
